Gronowo Elbląskie is a commune located in the western part of the Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodship, between Elbląg and Malbork.
The commune is situated at the junction of Małe Żuławy Malborskie (Minor Malbork Plain) and Żuławy Elbląskie (Elbląg Plain) and is crossed by vital roads and rail routes.
The commune comprises 14 villages with their own councils.
The commune covers an area of km2, including 1 ha of farmlands.
Individual farmers own 6 ha of land.
These farmlands are drained by 11 pump stations.
