The Gronowo Elbląskie commune is not only a perfect place for agricultural or business activity
The Public Library in Gronowo Elbląskie (with a branch in Jegłownik) plays an important role in the cultural development of the commune. For several years it has been organizing cultural events and shows, including a harvest festival, May feasts, starts of summer celebrations, family festivities, etc., all scheduled every year. It is also home to the Communal Folk Dance Group.
The commune also boasts a theater group, headed by teachers from the lower secondary school, which organizes performances, auctions and painting exhibitions.
It has become a tradition that every year the Gronowo Elbląskie commune is involved in organizing an event called Depression Treasures.
There is also the annual competition for the most beautiful property that is very popular among the inhabitants.
The Commune Office established a partnership with the Uplengen commune from Germany. As a result, our two communes have been exchanging experience and views on managing a local government since 2003.
Another annual event is Senior’s Day, during which competitions and games are held and the oldest female and male inhabitant of the Commune is chosen.
